Last weekend i was pretty busy, so i didn't get to stay home much. a shame since i wanted to do things but i really don't mind. i prefer to be out anyway. i had to go to work with my dad on saturday. landscaping. we cleared out this dudes front and backyard as a lot of his plants were overgrown. took most of the day. something my dad said stuck with me though. he works a lot, he had just finished his trucking job for the day then afterward we did landscaping. and he told me "i'm working really hard right now so that when i can't anymore i will have known i had done something."

i feel like i haven't been working as hard as i can. and that doesn't feel any good. i ought to put in more effort.

monday, i managed to wake up decently early today, suprisngly. and hey! look at that i made it to my first period for once. we had to read vignettes today. i like vignettes but these were from house on mango street, which i found quite boring. im not even sure why we're reading that now, thats freshman stuff. house on mango street genuinely bores me, i try to stay invested but i can't. 1. im not a lady. 2. i dont care about any of the characters. 3. i hate the writing style. but i get that it was an activism thing so yeah i guess people think its some marvel, but i swear some things get called great just cause its old.

school day overall was pretty normal, no vicki 2day though. some guy after school approached me and complimented me on my "performance" at the ddlm event. i had forgotten that some people may still remember that. Noah, is his name i believe. he seems pretty cool. ill have to ask him to send me the video he recorded of it later. anyway i have business to attend to, see you later. dont eat stuff off the floor. unless its worth it, then go ahead.

Yours truly,

Almost Omelette.
