Reminiscing
Who can forget great classics such as How to Eat Fried Worms and The Milly-Molly-Mandy Storybook... but really, the cream of the crop, as far as I was concerned when I was a wee thing, is the marvellous Finn Family Moomintroll .

What else?
Oh to be in san francisco when schlomo tells me this: "holy cow, it's jotto EVERYWHERE!... The San Fransisco Zoo hired him to draw all of their new ad stuff. He is all over billoards, the sides of busess, bus stops....EVERYWHERE!"
*sniff and snuffle*... I will just have to be content with some jotto distorted wallpapers on my desktop.

This week, it didn't rain, it poured. Check out the amazing photos of the scene outside my work on Tuesday night - photos coutesy of Jdog.

Not much time left now at my place of work. I am beginning to realise all the things I will miss (people, routine, that feeling on Friday nights and Saturday mornings, lunchtime cafe, etc) - and all the things I won't (Flinders St Station, the vile smell of the suburb I work in, the early mornings, the freezing cold)... but you know what? - Melty says it all the more eloquently...

but it's Friday night, and - as you know - this means it's sushi and a video (Dogma maybe?) when Big-P gets home from work.

Sunday 6 August 2000

7.04pm
Every Sunday night, when I was a little kid, I used to watch the Donnie and Marie Show. Yes - that brother and sister duo with the amazing white teeth and the perfectly flicked and moulded hair. Marie would wear be-a-utiful pink lace dresses and I wanted to be just like her. Mum and Dad would have to turn off the TV just before the last song - May Tomorrow Be Another Day - because that last song meant bed time and that meant the end of the weekend, which meant the next time I would be awake I would have to get up and go to school. And if they didn't turn the TV off before this song, I would cry. A lot.

So Sunday night is here and I am about to make pizzas and then watch my favourite Sunday Night show Dharma and Greg. I try not to cry at the end of the show - I concentrate on things like how Dhama got her hair to look just like that, and where I can get a mona lisa beaded curtain, and how cool it would be to get to do your own thing and not have to go and work in an office all day and ... hang on...

Two more weeks!

Only two more Monday mornings.

It's almost not too bad.
